White Rose Caldonaire is woven on dornier looms, which offers flexibility in creating cloth sets and tensions. This collection has been woven at a lighter force, allowing more openness between the naturally voluminous fibres.
The result is a lighter Dugdale tweed which still offers the warmth, richness and reliability associated with our Country sportswear collections.

First issued by Dugdale in 1909 under The White Rose Label, this collection has a rich assortment of traditional and modern colours. Taking inspiration from the archives, we’re proud to introduce this collection of exceptionally contemporary and dynamic designs for 2020.
This range of Shetland yarn tweed boasts an array of Windowpane, Birdseye, Herringbone, Twill, Prince of Wales and Donegal Tweed patterns available in a variety of pastel and bold colours.

With the introduction of 19 new designs, the range remains rooted in Yorkshire – using specially commissioned yarn spun by Lightowlers of Meltham.
