Lagan Valley is a thoroughly modern collection, crafted using time-honoured Irish linen production techniques. Designed for bespoke tailoring, it includes thoughtful enhancements to meet the demands of today’s consumers. Woven with traditional “dressed” linen threads and finished with a full calendared treatment, the cloth initially feels structured and crisp. However, a final innovative process — “dry washing” — gently removes the sizing by tumbling the finished linen in an air jet washer. This sustainable, water-free process softens the cloth’s handle, giving it a beautifully aged appearance with improved drape and enhanced durability — perfect for garments that combine tradition with contemporary comfort.
