Following on from the recent announcement of Amit’s appointment, we’re thrilled to introduce another addition to the Dugdale team: Jack Rowan.
Local to our Huddersfield home, having grown up in neighbouring Holmfirth, Jack has joined us at The Towers as the new regional sales manager for our northern area.
Attending Holmfirth High School and Greenhead College, he then undertook a degree in Chinese Studies at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Excelling in his education, Jack won a scholarship to study in China for a year, which he spent in Beijing – a city where bespoke tailoring is really beginning to thrive.
After graduating, and prior to entering into the world of fine cloth, Jack worked in Leeds for four years in a project management position. The role equipped him with valuable experience and helped him hone key skills in communication, organisation and management. Then, when a friend told him we were recruiting, he knew he had to apply.
Now, Jack has been with us for two months, and has hit the ground running in his new role.
Covering our sales from the north of England down to the Midlands, as well as in Scotland and Ireland, Jack’s responsibilities reach far and wide. Managing much valued client accounts alongside selling cloths, he’ll be taking care of our northern customers and making sure they’re consistently happy with the products and service they receive from us.
From day to day, he’ll be travelling across the vast sales territory to meet our clients, taking orders for fabrics and ensuring that everyone is happy with the service Dugdale Bros provides. And whilst the extensive time spent in his car and on trains might be more of a toil than a treat for some, Jack is relishing the freedom of not being tied to a desk!
To sum Dugdale up in three words, Jack would say “quality, heritage and unique” – and we couldn’t agree more! Already setting his sights on the future, he is hoping to have met all the clients whose accounts he manages in the next twelve months, and is looking forward to strengthening these relationships – alongside building new ones.
